Job Description
PE Global is recruiting a Warehouse Manager for our pharma client based in Swindon. The role is an initial 3-month contract and the rate for this role is 23.50 GBP/pay rate. The role operates on a flexi shift pattern and is a 40.25 hr/week.
Responsibilities
1. Responsibility for the safe and effective operation of warehouse activities.
2. Responsibility for the operation and accuracy of the Warehouse Stock Management System.
3. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current Health and Safety legislation, COSHH, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
4. Monitor the performance and potential of the team and provide the direction and motivation necessary to secure optimum commitment, competence and performance.
5. Be fully conversant on Warehouse Management Systems.
6. Liaise with Production, Engineering, Quality Control and other departments to ensure work procedures are complied with.
7. Ensure that high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained within all Warehouse areas both internally and externally.
8. Establish and control the warehouse KPIs to ensure effective and efficient management of the warehouse operation.
