Teaching Assistant

£450 - £525 per week dependant on experience and qualifications.

The role is based in the Bury area of Greater Manchester, you will be responsible for providing a stable and innovative and engaging environment alongside the class teacher.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted Year 6 intervention support. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team and play a key role in supporting pupils to achieve their full potential — academically, socially and emotionally.
Hours of work 8:30am – 3:30pm - Full time 5 days per week from Feb 26
Requirements
The requested skillset the desired Teaching Assistant you will require;
1. Year 6 Teaching Assistant - Experience or confidence working with children.
2. An understanding of the National Curriculum framework or a willingness to learn this.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and professionals.
4. A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
5. A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to professional development and learning.
