Role: Customer Service Claims Handler\n\nLocation:Liverpool\n\nSalary: £25,877 per annum plus the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus of £4200 paid on a quarterly basis, once established within your role.\n\nWorking hours:37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours a day. Monday to Friday on rota basis 8.00am - 8.00pm, 1 in 3 Weekends 9.00am-5.00pm.\n\nWe are looking for a professional candidate, experienced in Customer Service or Claims Handling to join one of our friendly teams. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving Claims Department, and we invite applications from candidates with and without experience in Motor claims.\n\nThe ideal candidate, will have excellent customer service experience and a positive, can-do attitude.\n\nFull training and continuous coaching will be provided to help you achieve your full potential.\n\nSTART DATE FOR THE ROLE WILL BE 11th AUGUST 2025.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nProviding a professional and proactive response in assessing claims in line with policy and procedure\nProviding an empathetic service to clients who have been involved in road traffic incidents\nLiaise with external companies and internal departments in a timely and professional manner in order to effectively process the customers claim notification\nTo resolve any issues avoiding expressions of dissatisfaction escalating into complaints\nHandle First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls, entering relevant claims details\nTo monitor and manage claims ensuring all services are provided in an agreed timescale\nAssessing new claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions\nIdentify and initiate any potential recoveries from 3rd parties\nHandle any complaints in line with FCA guidelines\nIdentifying key requirements for replacement vehicles\nWork to agreed SLA's and KPI'sWhat we're looking for:\n\nExcellent customer service skills\nNaturally empathetic and the ability to connect with people\nQuick fast paced problem-solving ability\nPositive can-do attitude\nGood IT skills and a confident communicator\nMotivated self-starter\nPassionate about working as part of a teamAbout Acorn Insurance\n\nWe are a growing business with great opportunities to build your knowledge of the financial services industry.
