The Role
As our Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining accurate financial records that support our projects and operations. You will work closely with management, project teams, and external partners to ensure seamless financial processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and supplier statements
• Process invoices, payments, and expenses with accuracy
• Support project cost tracking and job costing specific to construction projects
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
• Liaise with accountants, auditors, and external stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of job costing, project tracking, and construction-specific financial processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
