We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we’re seeking to recruit a skilled Product Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our products throughout the development and manufacturing process.
This role will also provide primary assistance to Manufacturing colleagues in containing and resolving any identified occurrences of product non-conformity such to prevent the release of such products for sale and Engineering colleagues to implement countermeasures identified in production in future designs to ensure improved quality (DFQ/DFM) for current and future products.
Typical activities next to spot checks, product audits and out of box inspection of finished products shall include process observation, monitoring and analysing quality performance and trends using statistical methods and tools, coordinating and supervising quality testing activities, evaluating and recommending quality improvement opportunities and solutions collaborating closely with other managers and departments to ensure quality integration and alignment.
Responsibilities:
1. Prevent problems before they occur through facilitating process improvements in production as well as through identifying, communicating and following up on DFQ shortcomings at various stages during product development.
2. Detect and eliminate avoidable errors.
3. Prevent non-conforming products reaching the customer.
4. Enhance customer satisfaction, e.g. reduce the number of Customer Care Cases and Warranty Returns, number of quality related TSG calls.
Requirements:
5. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
6. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
8. Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
9. Recent & relevant experience in a similar role.
10. Certified ISO9001Internal Auditor.
11. Competent in using root cause analysis tools & techniques.
