The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering creative and engaging Art lessons that inspire students and encourage experimentation with different techniques and media.
* Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, preparing students for GCSE coursework and assessments.
* Supporting students in developing practical skills in areas such as drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art.
* Encouraging students to explore artistic styles, cultural influences, and historical movements within art.
* Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident expressing their creativity.
* Organising and displaying student artwork throughout the school and supporting exhibitions or showcases of student work.
