Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of clients. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support clients with mobility and daily routines in accordance with individual care plans
* Encourage social interaction and participation in activities to promote mental well-being
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client conditions
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
* Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times
* Follow health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures
* Use IT systems to update client records and document care activities
Experience
* Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
* Knowledge of care plans and the ability to adapt support accordingly
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Driving experience and a valid driving licence are advantageous for roles involving client transportation
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and team members

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £25,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 2 – 60 per week
