Duties/Responsibilities:
* Set and implement standard operating procedures and service standards of the store.
* Manage the pre-assigned staff for both front and back of house, ensuring brand standards are achieved.
* Manage, motivate, recruit, train, and develop staff according to company policies and employment laws.
* Oversee card payment systems in accordance with company procedures, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
* Ensure the effectiveness, security, and confidentiality of IT and other essential in-store systems.
* Maintain daily stock levels of all food and beverage items, verify food deliveries, and manage inventory records.
* Manage health & safety, security, and emergency systems, ensuring staff and customer awareness in line with policies and laws.
* Develop personal skills through ongoing training provided by the company or approved training providers.
Our ideal Shift Manager will:
* Have experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager or assistant manager level.
* Be eager to progress to an Area Manager role.
