FUNCTION
To ensure the correct issuance of tooling and to check the condition of tools before production begins. Additionally, tools should be stored efficiently and effectively.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure correct issuance of supplied tools.
* Carry out first-off inspection according to operating procedures.
* Report deficiencies to the supervisor regarding changes in production methods, drawings, and tolerances.
* Understand quality standards related to tools and their usage.
* Follow health and safety requirements, especially regarding PPE and protective clothing.
* Keep the tooling area clean and tidy following 6S standards.
* Maintain and replace tooling parts as needed.
* Ensure a steady flow of tooling to all production areas.
* Perform any other tasks as required.
* Understand the demands and needs of all production departments.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Essential
* Ability to use measuring equipment.
* Ability to operate grinding machines.
* Proficiency with lathes and milling machines.
* Knowledge of heat treatment processes.
* Ability to read drawings.
* Awareness of company quality standards, especially ISO 9001.
* Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Desirable
* Flexibility to perform other tasks around the site.
* Experience with Vernier calipers and metrology.

Shifts:
Note: We operate a 4-day working week (37.5 hours).
Day shift: Monday to Wednesday, 07:00 to 17:00; Thursday, 07:00 to 16:30.
