Are you an enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable individual who enjoys working with young people? We are seeking to appoint a committed Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team and make a positive impact on students' daily learning experiences.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the short-term absence of teachers. You will supervise pre-prepared lessons, ensuring students remain on task and that high standards of behaviour and engagement are maintained throughout the school day.
While you won’t be required to deliver new content, you’ll need to confidently manage classroom environments, respond to student questions, and provide feedback to teachers.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise lessons and ensure students complete set work effectively.
* Communicate clearly the expectations for the lesson.
* Uphold a calm, purposeful learning environment.
* Support with lesson and registration cover, exam invigilation, and administrative tasks.
* Support on school trips and events where needed.
* Follow school behaviour and safeguarding procedures consistently.

* A calm, confident presence in the classroom.
* Strong time management, flexibility, and reliability.
* A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently when needed.
