We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher with a Science specialism to join our committed and nurturing team.
About the Role
You will:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Support students with SEMH needs to achieve both academically and personally.
* Create a safe, structured and inspiring learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with pastoral staff, therapists and external agencies.
* Contribute to individual education and behaviour support plans.
About Our Students
Our learners may have:
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* ADHD, ASD or associated learning needs
* Gaps in education due to previous school experiences
You will play a vital role in re-engaging students with learning, building trust, and developing their confidence in Science and beyond.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
* Has experience teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
* Has experience working with students with SEMH needs (preferred but not essential)
* Demonstrates strong behaviour management and relational practice
* Is patient, empathetic and resilient
* Believes every child can succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
