Interim Middle Leader - Year 2

A well led primary school in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Interim Middle Leader to provide stability and strength within Year 2. This is a vital role supporting a team that includes two ECTs, ensuring consistency in teaching and leadership across a four class year group.
The Role
As the Year 2 lead, you'll play a key role in securing high-quality teaching and daily continuity for pupils. The position is approximately 80 percent classroom-based, supported by dedicated leadership time each week (half-day PPA with the team plus an additional half-day Middle Leader release).
You'll line manage three teachers and three teaching assistants, contribute to CPD and take part in wider Monday leadership activity. PSHE curriculum responsibility sits with the post, though this can be absorbed by the school if required.
What We're Looking For
* A strong KS1 teacher with proven classroom impact - Year 2 experience ideal, Year 3 or 4 also considered
* Confident guiding planning and supporting less experienced colleagues
* Some leadership experience is desirable, though not essential for the right practitioner
* QTS required
* SEN experience helpful but not a priority - teaching quality and stability are key
