Administrator
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is looking for two part‑time Administrators to join our 0‑19 Public Health Nursing team.
The closing date is 18 June 2026
Post 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 22.5 hours.
Post 2: Thursday & Friday – 15 hours.
Working hours will be agreed with the successful candidate. Shifts will be completed between 8 am and 5 pm.
These are permanent posts based at Cots Hill Clinic. Full induction and training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
The day‑to‑day work includes:
* Managing a generic mailbox.
* Processing statutory and health notifications.
* Data inputting and collating information.
* Updating patient records on RIO.
* Dealing with telephone calls.
* Other tasks as set out in the job description.
The role is busy, varied and requires a flexible approach, a calm, professional manner, accurate work, multi‑tasking ability, a can‑do attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Tuition, qualifications and experience
Knowledge:
* Office procedures.
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Understanding of the Data Protection Act and NHS Code of Confidentiality.
Qualifications:
* Level 3 academic qualification in a Business/Administration subject or Level 2 with considerable recent NHS administrative experience.
* Original certificates required at offer.
Additional criteria:
* Unable to provide sponsorship and limited visa does not guarantee sponsorship at entry.
Skills and abilities:
* Challenge poor behaviour.

* Clear and effective communication in English (verbal and written).
* Standard IT skills (tested in interview).
* Good organisational skills.
Experience:
* Recent, relevant administrative/secretarial experience, normally a minimum of 2 years.
