Job Title: Approved Electrician (5+ Years' Experience)

Salary: £35,256 – £38,708.80 per annum (DOE) + Overtime

The Role
We are looking for a fully qualified Approved Electrician with a minimum of 8 Years experience or Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be competent in all aspects of electrical installation, testing, and fault finding, and confident working independently on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
* Fault finding and rectification
* Testing and inspection of electrical installations
* Completion of Electrical Certificates (EICR & EIC) and Minor Works Certificates
* Ensuring compliance with current regulations including BS 7671
* Working to high health & safety standards
* Liaising professionally with clients and contractors
* Supervising apprentices where required
Essential Requirements
* SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* Completed a recognised apprenticeship
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* Valid ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician grade)
* Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial environments
* Strong fault-finding and testing experience
* Wiring and understanding of domestic heating wiring systems
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable (But Not Essential)
* 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience with EV charger installations
* Experience with renewable energy systems (solar PV, battery storage)
* IPAF/PASMA certification
