Pertemps Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Wolverhampton, a leading name within their industry, for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, safety-conscious individual looking for a varied role in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
* Strip down cylinders to prepare for refurbishment
* Carry out extensive testing including ultrasound and pressure testing
* Perform visual inspections of cylinders
* Load cylinders onto automated lines for shot blasting/paint spraying
* Support barcoding and basic assembly duties
* Operate forklift safely and efficiently
* Handle heavy cylinders using correct manual handling techniques
* Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks when required
* Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve targets
* Strictly follow on-site Health & Safety procedures
* Accurately input and manage data using computer systems
Shift Pattern & Pay
* Rotating Day Shifts: 1 week mornings / 1 week afternoons
* Pay rate: £15.09 per hour
