The Company:

My client is a small but growing, global financial services training organization servicing a number of the world's financial institutions, from investment banks to private banks and asset managers. Operating from locations across the globe, my client has a world-class reputation and is an emerging leader in financial training, providing solutions via e-learning and classroom-based training. Due to continued success over several years, the business is now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager.


The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive account development. The company benefits from a large intake of warm leads and needs a strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach to enhance these leads and nurture them to closure. You will develop your sales strategy and approach to business development within a targeted client base. Once you win an account, you will nurture and grow the relationship to maximize opportunities for repeat business. Your role includes building new business and working with existing opportunities, primarily with accounts in the EMEA region. You will attend regular sales meetings (virtually and online) and be responsible for reporting and forecasting sales results.


The Person

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling directly to the financial market space or within training and education. Experience in selling to banking and finance sectors related to compliance is preferred but not essential. You should have experience presenting to board level and a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Selling into HR, Compliance, or C-level executives is advantageous.


The Remuneration

The role offers a basic salary of £40-55K depending on experience, with a lucrative uncapped commission structure enabling a realistic OTE of £70-85K. Benefits include a laptop, mobile phone, healthcare, pension, and other perks associated with working for a market leader.
