HV Working Supervisor - Building Maintenance
Location: London Victoria
Salary: £55,000
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the on-site electrical team. Ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed to a high standard.
* High Voltage Operations: Serve as the senior authorised person (SAP) or authorised person (AP) for HV systems, including HV switching, isolation, and permits to work.
* Hands-on Maintenance: Carry out fault-finding, repairs and maintenance on a wide range of electrical systems.
* Health & Safety and Compliance: Champion health and safety, ensure work complies with policies and UK legislation, conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks, ensure Safe Systems of Work are followed.
* Subcontractor Management: Oversee specialist subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality standards.
* Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate job documentation, digital logbooks and CAFM entries; provide regular operational reports to the line manager.
What We're Looking For
* Essential: Proven experience in a supervisory or senior engineer role within facilities maintenance or building services.
* Essential: A recognised electrical qualification, such as a Level 3 NVQ Diploma or equivalent.
* Essential: Current High Voltage Authorisation, with proven HV systems management experience.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HV and LV systems, with knowledge of M&E, HVAC, and building fabric.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
