About The Role
1. Assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the food propositions at Butlins.
2. Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to recipes and brand standards.
3. Oversee and lead small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety policies are followed.
4. Participate in the Butlins Chef Academy to develop skills and progress in your culinary career.
5. Deputise for the Sous Chef in their absence, managing daily operations within your section for efficiency and compliance.
6. Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to health and safety regulations, setting a standard for Commis Chefs.
7. Prepare and cook dishes as per pre-approved recipes, complete daily food diaries, and assist in controlling budget margins.
About You
1. Experience in a similar role or looking to advance your culinary career.

3. Energetic, enthusiastic, and team-oriented with a positive attitude.
4. Hold a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
5. Responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.
