We are seeking an experienced and committed individual to lead the Library Delivery Service and support the Mobile Library and Delivery Service Manager.
The current Delivery Service involves collecting and delivering to 47 library sites using 2 dedicated vehicles over 5 days a week.
The Mobile Library service visits individuals and groups across over 400 villages using a fleet of Mobile Libraries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a transport or logistics background looking to broaden their skills and gain experience during a period of change.
You must demonstrate effective self-management, ability to work with others in a challenging, fast-paced environment, and have the confidence to lead and inspire others to deliver excellent service. A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to manage change efficiently are essential.
Working from our headquarters in Hethersett, hours are typically Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 15:54, with an hour for lunch. Flexibility is required for early evenings and late afternoons.
A good knowledge of transport law and the ability to travel around the county are essential.
Mandatory requirements include a Driver Qualification Card, an LGV - Class C driving licence, GCSE level education or equivalent, or relevant experience.
