Salary Range: Actual Salary £33,366 - £35,235

Role Overview
We are seeking to appoint a “Facilities Manager” to work with our outstanding Site Team to help maintain the high standards they provide within our academy. You will be expected to provide hands on support, be practically capable and be able to undertake many sites related tasks. Qualifications
1. GCSEs grades 9 - 4 (A* to C) in English and Maths
2. NEBOSH General Certificate or prepared to work towards gaining within 12 months
3. IWFM recognised qualification in Facilities Management
Significant relevant experience in:
4. Building, fire, asbestos, legionella, COSHH and health and safety regulations.
5. Practical maintenance ability and knowledge of plumbing and electrics.
6. Technical knowledge.
7. Supervisory/management skills.
8. Administration and financial systems.
9. Budgetary control.
10. Contract and tendering process.
11. Contract Management.
12. Negotiating contracts.
13. Facility Management.
14. ICT applications, spreadsheets, access, word processing.
Skills & Knowledge
15. To facilitate smooth operation of school activities.
16. Planning and timetabling of cyclical maintenance work.
17. Knowledge of plant equipment.
18. Ability to complete and review Risk Assessments.
19. Contractor management
20. Safe operation of sites
21. Action plans and remedial works
