Position: Business Development Manager Salary £28k £32k, Uncapped commission, OTE £38-£42k Location: Northern Ireland Our client is a market leader in comprehensive, tailored maintenance and property services solutions, specialising in a range of property and grounds maintenance services across Northern Ireland and in ROI. They are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in generating new business. The role: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across public and private sectors Manage business accounts and identify opportunities to upsell and cross sell Collaborate with operational teams to develop tailored service solutions for clients Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential growth areas Negotiate contracts and manage the onboarding of new clients Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline The person: Demonstrable experience generating new business and meeting sales targets The ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation. Proven ability to drive sales process from plan through to sale. Proven ability to present the Key Selling Points of each service and position them against competitors. Strong decision-making skills. Ability to plan and prioritise workload. A hunter with a can do mindset Desirable: A knowledge or interest in the local business community would be preferable. Previous Experience within the Facilities Management/ Grounds Maintenance/ Property Maintenance Industry.
