Production Shift Manager – Packaging
Location: BradfordSalary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts – 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Production Shift Manager to join our clients packaging operation. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe running of production during your assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead production teams to meet daily output, quality, and efficiency targets
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and company procedures
* Monitor production performance and address issues promptly to minimise downtime
* Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to achieve production plans
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
* Communicate effectively with other shift managers, maintenance, and senior management
About You:
* Proven experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory/management role
* Background in packaging or injection moulding is highly desirable
* Strong people-management and leadership skills
* Able to work rotating shifts (6–2 / 2–10)
* Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
* Good organisational and communication skills
