Reception Operations Manager Higher Education campus Central London £36-40k per annum
Are you an experienced manager with a background in operations, accommodation, hospitality, or higher education? An exciting opportunity is available to work for a prestigious London university within their Residence Operations team.
The Role:
As the key front-line officer for the residence, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of reception services, including line management of staff. The Operations Manager will work within a team and deputise for other Operations Managers when needed.
The Operations team includes front-of-house staff in each hall, the Residential Services Office, and the Residences Systems Team.
Key Duties:
* Create a warm and welcoming environment with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
* Ensure the property management system accurately reflects reservation dates and charges, including any amendments during the stay.
* Act as the Key User for the hall concerning software systems such as property management, parcel management, finance, and estates maintenance systems.
* Collaborate with the third-party facilities management team to ensure housekeeping, maintenance, and security services are delivered to a high standard.
* Support the Accommodation Office to maximize sales, assist with room viewings, and maintain rooms to the required standard for prompt resale.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience managing a team in a customer-facing environment.
* Experience delivering excellent customer service in the hospitality sector.
* Knowledge of student accommodation in the Higher Education sector (beneficial).
* Experience using Property Management Systems.
