Job Description
We are looking for a enthusiastic, reliable, and compassionate Science Teacher to join our successful and supportive teaching team based in a school in Sefton.
The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching Science and committed to helping students achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5, if applicable). You will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
The Role
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Science department
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
• Support students of all abilities to achieve excellent outcomes
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds (or is on track to achieve) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Is an Early Career Teacher looking to complete their induction
• Has an interest in or some experience of teaching Science
• IExcellent communication and organisational skills
Requirements
• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
