Role Overview
As an Estimator / Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our commercial clients by delivering accurate costings and project plans that meet their operational and aesthetic goals. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while engaging directly with clients through pre‑arranged site visits.
You will assess restoration requirements, prepare detailed estimates, and work closely with our internal teams and supply chain partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct on‑site surveys to capture accurate measurements and specifications for restoration projects.
* Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labour, and timelines.
* Collaborate with our suppliers, sales team and our technical operational specialists to enable affordable, bespoke solutions for our clientele.
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure robust pricing and quality assurance.
* Provide regular cost updates to client surveying teams and finalise negotiations prior to contract agreements.
* Travel within your region (occasional overnight stays, fully expensed) across the South of England.

* Facilitate client relationships through trust and deliver solutions aligned with client objectives, as part of the customer journey.

* Maintain accuracy in measurements, costings, and documentation.

Technical Competencies
* Prior work history experience within the Furniture Industry ideally from furniture retail, prior upholstery, or furniture technician background, is essential for this role.
* Competency in preparing accurate cost estimates and controlling costs against targets.
* Comprehend technical drawings and specifications confidently.
* Take precise measurements and apply mathematical skills for accurate calculations.
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure robust pricing and material availability.
* Manage site visits, schedules, and client updates efficiently.
* Use digital tools for estimating, reporting, and maintaining accurate records and written communication.
