We are recruiting for a Business Administrator (Care Home Administrator) to support our team at Alston House, a luxury care home providing residential, dementia, and nursing care for older people. As a Business Administrator, you will be central to the care home's daily operations, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure smooth administrative functions.

1. Undertake all administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the care home.
2. Support the Home Manager with effective administration, including HR/recruitment tasks and financial activities.
3. Assist in preparing reports and compliance documentation.
4. Monitor budgets, process invoices, and manage financial records.
5. Handle inquiries from residents, families, and external stakeholders with professionalism and empathy.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident and staff records in compliance with relevant regulations.


Candidate Profile

* Experience in an administrative role within a care home setting or similar environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
* Understanding of care home regulations is desirable.
* Empathy and a desire to make a difference in residents' lives.
* Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
