Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk Rate: £21.26 per hour (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 12 Months Location: Stockport, Manchester (SK3 0EF) Working hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:00 (Hybrid after initial training period) The Opportunity: This is a great opportunity to work with a world class leader in the international market for the design, manufacture, maintenance and supply of equipment and components for railway systems. Key Role and Responsibilities Process and log supplier invoices Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies Reconcile monthly supplier statements Prepare and validate invoices for payment runs Apply correct VAT codes, including EU VAT rules Maintain GRNI records and supplier account details Liaise with suppliers and resolve invoice queries Assist with reporting and department queries The Candidate The ideal candidate will be motivated, focused individual who has previously worked in a purchase ledger capacity. They will be a team player and organised.
