The Leicestershire College is seeking an experienced Security Officer to join the Estates team and provide a flexible, efficient and effective security service at all times. The role requires a rotational shift pattern, working 37.5 hours per week over five days. Main working days will be Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage for events such as open days.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular surveillance patrols across the college campus.
* Act as a point of contact for learners, colleagues and visitors.
* Provide a customer‑focused presence on site and maintain a professional approach.
* Work independently and manage your own initiative.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience providing security and/or locking down buildings on a large site.
* Hold an SIA licence and either possess or be willing to work towards a recognised First Aid qualification.
* Demonstrated professional approach and ability to work autonomously.
