Role Information
As a private equity backed business with extensive growth planned, this newly created role will be a key player in providing sound financial insights to the board and executive directors. Leading a small team of FM’s you will ensure a robust and accurate end-to-end budgeting and forecast process. Outside of forecast cycles, you will support business performance reporting and analysis, enabling efficient and timely decision-making. As a Head of, you would also play an integral part with the development of the FM’s through coaching or mentoring.
To succeed in this role, we require someone who is detail oriented whilst able to build rapport with internal stakeholders and positively influence where needed.
DUTIES
* Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the company and its subsidiaries.
* Analyse financial results, variances, and trends to identify key drivers and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
* Ensure reports / forecasting plans are accurate and timely to ensure covenant compliance.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to assess investment opportunities, evaluate business initiatives, and support decision-making processes.
* Lead and develop the FM Team considering their development needs and succession plans.
* Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the potential impact of strategic decisions on financial outcomes.
* Assist in the preparation of board and investor presentations, including financial analysis and supporting documentation.
* Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Proactively working with the systems architecture, data flow and related functions to improve the quality, timeliness and usefulness of data.
* Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by senior management.

EXPERIENCE 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, consulting, or related fields. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and sensitivity analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
