Opportunity
Our award‑winning landscape architecture practice is growing rapidly with teams across the UK and internationally. You will lead and deliver high‑profile projects spanning environmental infrastructure, transportation, regeneration, and green building design. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and have the chance to shape integrated, sustainable places for our clients.
Locations
Birmingham, Bristol or Cardiff – flexible hybrid working supported.
Responsibilities
* Lead the discipline and manage independent projects of an appropriate scale.
* Develop concept design, masterplanning, detailed design and landscape management solutions.
* Collaborate with environmental, engineering, urban design and cost consulting teams.
* Travel to sites within the Mid‑West Region, using public transport or car hire. A valid driving licence is required.
* Produce high‑quality drawings, proposals, reports and visualisations.
* Mentor junior staff and share best practice across the team.
Qualifications & Skills
* Masters or postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline, with Chartered Membership (CMLI) or E‑A to CMLI accreditation.
* Professional experience in diverse sectors such as energy, water, transport, commercial, urban regeneration, residential, education, health, historic buildings and landscape planning strategic policy.
* Strong sketching, hand‑drawing and design communication skills.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office; experience with GIS (ArcGIS) and 3D modelling software (Revit, MicroStation, etc.) is advantageous.
* Excellent report writing and presentation ability.
* Ability to work with multi‑disciplinary teams and lead project teams.
