Network Operations Specialist (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Glasgow
Join Telent's Engineering Team and be part of a high-performing group working on complex and critical infrastructure. As a NOC Technician, you'll provide administrative support to ensure incidents are resolved efficiently, working within a 24/7 shift rota.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create and manage network incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests and allocate tickets to support teams and service providers.
4. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
5. Organize traffic management in coordination with relevant teams and providers.
6. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
7. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally in a NOC environment.
* Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
