Positioned at the Gateway to Mid-Wales, the Rhallt provides exceptional person-centred care for General Nursing and Dementia Nursing to the population of Powys, Shropshire, and Gwynedd. With easily accessible road links and a nearby Rail station, the Rhallt is nestled in a beautiful location adjacent to Offa’s Dyke Path, straddling the Montgomery Canal and the surrounding hills.

We are seeking kind, caring, and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. You will deliver quality care to residents according to Care Plans and contribute to the efficient running of the Care Home. We offer part-time and 0-hour BANK contracts at £12.60 per hour. Shift times are 19:45 - 08:00, with alternate weekends.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Deliver hands-on, person-centred care to residents.
2. Support residents in enjoying a good quality of life.
3. Model best practice in care delivery.
4. Assist residents with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in line with care plans.
5. Contribute to daily resident records.
6. Work effectively within a team and complete delegated tasks efficiently.
7. Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults in contact with the post holder.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience as a Care Assistant is preferable.
* Care certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
* Good knowledge of care practices for older people.
* Understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application in residential/nursing settings.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Self-motivated and confident.
