About the Role
Strathmore College is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our Education team. We seek versatile, resilient, and committed Learning Support Assistants who can adapt their practice across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers, assist children with their work, support pupil behaviour, establish good relationships, act as a role model, and respond to individual needs.

Strathmore College is an SEN college for students aged 19 to 25.
Role Responsibilities
* Working in the college setting
* Assisting tutors and helping students
This role may involve working on-site or off-site, accessing the community or engaging in student work placements.
Working Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (specific hours to be confirmed)
Candidate Requirements
We value transferable skills and life experience. The ideal candidate will have previous classroom support experience, a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent), and demonstrate the following qualities:
* Resilience: Supporting vulnerable children with emotional, behavioural, autism, ADHD, and related difficulties, where resilience is essential.
* Communication: Vital for understanding needs and ensuring effective teamwork and information sharing.
* Organisation: Strong organisational skills to support educational activities.
* Caring: Naturally caring and compassionate to provide the best support.
* Attentive: Ability to understand tasks and identify support areas, as no two tasks are the same.
