If you’re an experienced specification sales professional seeking to join an innovative and growing industry leader at the forefront of their market, this opportunity is for you.
This established UK manufacturer of technical commercial interior building products is looking to recruit a field-based specification sales consultant to their successful team. You will cover postcodes PE, NN, NR, IP, CO, CM, ME, CT, BR, DA, RM, EN, AL, LU, MK, SG, and CB, targeting architects, hospitals, and NHS Trusts. Your responsibilities include presenting CPDs, building relationships, and securing business for projects involving new builds and refurbishments, including the modular market.
Key Responsibilities
* Mapping contacts across specification, procurement, and supply chain sectors.
* Developing and managing a sales pipeline to meet targets.
* Collaborating with marketing to support strategic development and gather market insights.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have experience in specification sales with the ability to understand and communicate technical product details to diverse audiences. Knowledge of selling into NHS/hospitals is advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate tenacity, resilience, excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, along with self-motivation and a strong drive for results.
