Description As a Purge and Relight Supervisor, you will work as part of the Cadent CMO on the Mains Replacement Contract across the North West. Using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. You will work within a regional team of engineers. It is essential you have a full UK driving license. Key Responsibilities Inspection of pipework alterations for meter relocations within client SLAs. You will carry out gas safety checks and visual inspections (post inspections and in-progress inspections) of all appliances including carrying out any unsafe procedures processes as per gas safe regulations and ensure accurate data is recorded. You will engineer solutions on site and focus on first time fix. You will understand workload planning and appointment booking with customers to meet required timescales and customer requirements. You will ensure accurate data is returned from every job and shared with relevant departments to keep records up-to date. You will manage stock planning and control to ensure availability of all equipment required to complete jobs issued successfully. Deputise for service delivery manager when required. Attend to customer complaints in a timely manner and ensure a suitable resolution is achieved for all parties. You will possess a good level of commercial awareness and understand the most cost-effective solution of working as a mobile engineer You will enjoy working autonomously, always focused on delivering a first-class service with a professional manner Experience and Qualifications Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Gas Engineer & good IT skills Apprenticeship, or similar qualification, with a recognised certification CMET 1 & CMET 2, MET4, REG1 & REG 2 CODNCO1, TPCP1, CCN1, CESP1, CMA1 or equivalents.
