Job Title: Shop Manager

Dudley Zoo and Castle are seeking a Shop Manager to lead our busy zoo admissions and retail team.


Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the shop and admissions.
2. Manage retail sales and customer service to ensure a high-quality visitor experience.
3. Recruit, train, and manage large teams of staff.
4. Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
5. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and administrative tasks.
6. Work flexibly, including bank holidays, to meet operational needs.


Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience in retail sales and managing a busy shop or visitor attraction front of house.
* Extensive customer service and cash handling experience.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, and passionate about customer service and retail.
