Are you passionate about driving impact in the nonprofit sector through technology? A leading consultancy, specialising in digital transformation for charities and social enterprises, is seeking a target-driven Business Development Manager to join their award-winning team.
You’ll play a key role in expanding the company’s footprint across the UK and Ireland, developing new business relationships while nurturing existing client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver individual sales targets as part of the wider team goals
* Generate and manage leads across the UK and Ireland nonprofit sectors
* Build relationships with Salesforce Account Executives and sector consultants
* Lead proposal development and bid teams for client opportunities
* Manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and growth
* Contribute to sales, marketing, and product strategy
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Proven experience in business development for a technology consultancy or SaaS
* Track record of exceeding £1M+ in annual sales
* Strong communicator able to engage senior nonprofit stakeholders
* Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM solutions
* Collaborative team player, skilled in cross-functional environments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Desirable:
* Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or similar tools
* Prior work at or with a nonprofit in fundraising or marketing
* Experience selling fundraising CRM or marketing automation software
* Understanding of the Salesforce partner ecosystem
Location & Travel
Candidates must be based in or near London and available to travel within the UK frequently and to Ireland occasionally. This role can be based in our London office, fully remote, or hybrid from Northern Ireland. You’ll need to be in London 2-3 times a month for meetings and collaboration.
