Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with the ability to operate CNC machinery effectively. This role requires proficiency in Mazatrol Controls and Haas Controls
Duties
* Operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
* Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to produce components accurately.
* Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes.
* Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Utilise SolidWorks and other CAD software for design modifications and improvements.
* Perform turning operations as required.
* Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in CNC operation or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous.
* Experience in materials handling and assembly processes is preferred.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
