The Peninsula London is seeking an ambitious Assistant Restaurant Manager for Brooklands Restaurant. This role involves ensuring top-tier food and beverage service and managing team engagement to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Brooklands offers contemporary European cuisine from Michelin-starred Chef Director Claude Bosi, along with premium libations and cigars, in spaces inspired by British aviation and motorsport eras.
The venue, designed by Archer Humphryes, features a main dining room, outdoor terrace with panoramic London views, and iconic landmarks such as St Paul’s, the London Eye, and Battersea, along with views over Hyde Park, Green Park, and St James’ Park.

Key Accountabilities
* Promote The Peninsula London as a culinary destination by creating memorable guest experiences with friendly, professional service.
* Ensure the team follows service standards.
* Understand menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and service styles.
* Lead the team to provide memorable dining experiences.
* Support innovation and creativity to position the restaurant effectively.
General Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a gastronomic restaurant, preferably in a Michelin-starred setting.
Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to recall ingredients and inform guests and staff.
Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
Fluent English; proficiency in a second language is desirable.
Ability to handle guest complaints courteously and efficiently.
Maintain excellent colleague relationships and high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
