Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.Contracted hours: 40 per week
Holidays and Benefits: 33 days holiday, Xmas shut down, 7.5% pension, x4 salary death in service.
Working within modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities the quality manager will be working for a precision engineering business that manufacture components and fabrications for the aerospace, nuclear and defence industry.
To maintain approvals and certifications including AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, NADCAP (NDT), R-R SABRE, R-R GS3001.
Manage the quality team members
Ensure the Quality Management System is kept under continuous review and that all opportunities for improvement are reviewed and implemented where required.
Ensure robust quality controls are implemented and followed at all points during the manufacturing process and that they are aligned to our customer’s and regulatory requirements
Ensure accurate recording and resolution of any customer complaints as they arise.
Employ robust quality tools to investigate, correct and prevent non-conformance.
The ideal candidate / Quality Manager may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Experience with data collection and analysis
A strong background at implementing quality systems within an precision engineering environment – aerospace/machining/fabrication or similar
Competent/capable of driving quality throughout a large business and manufacturer
