Accounts Assistant
Location: Wolverhampton, WV6 8AA
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary:£24,350 (successful applicants are normally appointed at the bottom of the salary band, exceptions may apply).

Compton Care is proud to provide care and support to those living with life limiting conditions through several dedicated but also interlinked service including our inpatient unit, community care, our living well centre, and supportive care services.
What will you do?
As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day duties of the Finance Department. You will assist in general duties within the accounts department, including banking, processing a range of documents on the general ledger, preparing month‑end accounting journals, and performing general office duties.
You will also support the administration of lottery products.
What we want you to bring.
You should have experience of IT and be familiar with Excel, including using vLookups and pivot tables. Knowledge of using an accounting system such as Sage would be desirable. You should also have a high level of numeracy or GCSE Maths (grade 6 or above) or equivalent.
