Located in Rushey Green, Lewisham, we have grown to serve the wider community, offering activities requested by the community. We are a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.
Role Description
We're seeking Tutors & Instructors to support our classes and activities in the autumn term. We have a number of paid roles involving planning and delivering activities and workshops acorss Irish language, music and activity classes.
You'll have:
* Experience in teaching, tutoring, or instructional design
* Ability to plan and deliver activities and workshops
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working with diverse communities
* Relevant qualifications in Education, Teaching, or related fields
We're seeking tutors in the following areas:
Irish Language Teachers
* Positions available for both adult and children's classes
* Availability required on weekends or Thursday evenings
Irish Music Tutors
* Position available for children's classes
* Classes will be held on Thursday evenings
Healthy Living Program for Over 60's
We are preparing to relaunch our healthy living initiative, this is aimed at individuals over 60. Classes are held weekdays throughout the day. Tutors and fitness instructors are needed for the following classes:
* Chair-based yoga
* Chair-based Pilates
* Line dancing
* Zumba Gold
* Mindfulness practice
