Fire and Theft Claims Handler

Up to £28,000 DOE
Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Fire and Theft Claims Handler to join my clients team based in Tonbridge. The successful candidate will have previous experience within Fire and Theft claims, will be inquisitive and able to think on their feet!
Duties include:
1. Processing fire and theft claims whilst adhering to DPA, TCF and any other regulations
2. Dealing with incoming calls; queries and complaint whilst delivering exceptional customer service to customers
3. Responding to recorded complaints within the company’s SLA’s
4. Identifying third party claims exposure in theft claims
5. Investigating further into claims in order to establish the bona fides of the claims presented
6. Reporting any suspicious claims to the Fraud team
7. Previous experience as a Motor Fire and Theft Claims Handler
8. A strong attention to detail
9. Enthusiastic
10. Excellent customer service skills and a polite telephone manner
11. Able to use your own initiative but work collaboratively within a team
12. An analytical and investigative mindset
13. Organised with the ability to meet deadlines
