Reporting to the Youth Work Coordinator, you'll support the development and delivery of One YMCA's Universal Youth Work in Bedford.
Key Responsibilities
 * Plan, deliver and evaluate youth work sessions for young people aged 9-18.
 * Support and supervise sessional youth workers.
 * Work with partners, schools and agencies to ensure joined‑up support for young people.
 * Maintain accurate records to track engagement and outcomes.
 * Help develop and expand One YMCA's youth offer through partnerships and funding opportunities.
 * Promote equality, inclusion and safeguarding in all aspects of delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
You're passionate about making a difference, able to inspire and motivate young people, and confident leading sessions and small teams. A Level 3 Youth Work qualification (or willingness to achieve one) is essential.
Hours & Pay
Work 2-3 days after school and some evenings each week, totaling 18 hours per week, on a monthly salaried basis.
Employment Details
Important: We do not provide visa sponsorship; you must be eligible to work in the UK. You must reside in the UK for the duration of your employment and provide Right to Work evidence. As some of our roles involve working with vulnerable members of society, this position may require a Basic or Enhanced Criminal Disclosure, which will be conducted once a conditional offer is made.
Work Pattern
This is a Part Time role. Working Pattern: Flexible but will include Evenings & Weekends.
