Job Description
The Assistant Management Accounant will;
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for the organisation.
* Perform variance analysis and provide insights to the finance team.
* Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial procedures.
* Assist in preparing audit documentation and liaising with auditors as needed.
* Help streamline financial processes to improve efficiency.
* Provide support to the Accounting & Finance department in ad hoc tasks and projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
* A qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g., AAT, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Previous experience in a similar role within the accounting and finance field.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
