Rate of Pay: £13.50 - £17.77 per hour
Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Transit Van Driver for a multidrop delivery role, covering routes across the M62 corridor. This position involves regular customer interaction and manual handling, delivering goods to a range of locations including public sector buildings and private addresses.
Responsibilities:
* Complete multidrop deliveries (approximately 20–30 drops per day)
* Deliver goods across the M62 corridor, from Newcastle to Birmingham and surrounding areas
* Load, transport, and unload goods safely and efficiently
* Use manual sack carts to handle goods of varying weights and sizes
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
* Deliver to a range of sites including schools, offices, public buildings, and private addresses
Essentials:
* Valid UK driving licence (Category B)
* Ability to manage a high-volume delivery schedule
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting
* Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
