Job Title: Functional Assessor (Physiotherapist)

Job Type: Permanent | Hybrid Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm

About the Role

As a Functional Assessor, you’ll use your clinical expertise in a new way—conducting holistic assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily living. You’ll produce clear, evidence-based reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in making benefit decisions.

What We’re Looking For

* HCPC-registered Physiotherapist (Adult)
* Minimum of 1 year’s post-acute broad base registration experience working in the UK
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Confident using computer systems for report writing
* Comfortable working with a wide range of complex physical and mental health conditions
* A proactive, curious clinician eager to learn and grow

Benefits Package

* Competitive salary of £37,800 per annum
* Overtime and incentive schemes to boost income
* 25 days’ annual leave (rising to 27 after 5 years)

* HCPC registration fee paid for by the Employer
* 18 weeks of full maternity, adoption, and surrogacy pay
* 6 weeks full paternity pay
* Paid leave for neonatal/premature birth, pregnancy loss, and child bereavement
