InstaStaff are currently recruiting for an Automotive Mechanical Fitter to join a manufacturing and production company based in Great Bridge on a temp to perm basis.
You will be joining a dynamic team of Fitters - Bodybuilders. You will be required to build parts and vehicles; think of it as playing with Lego and putting the pieces together.
This role would suit someone who has an interest in car building or has previous mechanic experience.
You will be using a variety of tools, including air, electric, and manual with torque range settings. Experience of using these types of tools is essential.
Mechanical hydraulics experience and the ability to read and understand technical drawings is a vital part of this role, so experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Building vehicles

* Working with and interpreting engineering technical drawings
* Assembling and installing systems and equipment
* Fabricating and repairing machinery
* Operating tools and machinery
Requirements:
* Mechanical hydraulics experience
* Experience interpreting engineering technical drawings
* Experience in a similar role
The hours of work for the Automotive Mechanical Fitter will be Monday to Thursday - 7:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.
The salary for the Automotive Mechanical Fitter will be £12.50 per hour, rising to £13.50 once taken on permanently. You will also receive a shopfloor bonus.
