With display sites in Norwich, Dereham, Downham Market, and Swaffham and more sites being planned, we offer customers the opportunity to explore our extensive range of products and engage with our knowledgeable sales team. We also sell through our website and social media channels. The business trades across domestic and commercial customer bases with a huge opportunity to grow into certain sectors as well as into new areas.
Our leads to date are generated through recommendations, website leads, social media enquiries and traffic on our local display sites but we know with a more strategic direction and management of our marketing, team and opportunities we can significantly grow which is the reason for this new and exciting position.
Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Manager to join our management team at Cabins Unlimited. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing effective marketing strategies to promote our diverse range of timber buildings across mainland UK. We are looking to expand into new areas and develop our marketing and sales skills across our existing sites as well as launch new sites with effective management. The role is a hybrid people management and sales and marketing position so previous experience within these areas will be required.
Responsibilities
* Be an active and supportive member of the Business Management Team.
* Develop, implement and deliver, strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
* Hit team and personal KPI's and targets through effective people and business management skills.
* Lead and manage the sales team to maximize performance and productivity.
* Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
* Create and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
* Utilize our CRM system for tracking sales activities and managing customer relationships as well as the performance of the team.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on product offerings and promotions.
* Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Support the Sales Team on Targeting and Winning larger Opportunities.
* Identify key business opportunities and deliver them.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sales and people management or marketing roles, preferably within a retail or building supply or associated industries.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing successful teams.
* Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Proficiency in using CRM software is preferred
* Outstanding communication skills for effective interaction with customers and stakeholders.
* Must be efficient in all Microsoft 365 software and effective at reporting and presenting.
