> Description Speedy Freight Glasgow is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone keen to start their career within a fast‑paced, supportive environment while working towards a recognised qualification. As an apprentice, you will support daily operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop expertise across our systems and processes. Responsibilities: First point of contact to provide logistics support and after sales service to customers via phone and email, updating the CRM database with all interactions. Input data into in house IT systems, including the CRM database and HubSpot, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. Liaise with the driver network by phone and email to prioritise consignments and record all updates in the Traffic Management System (TMS). You will become a systems expert on TMS. Maintain and organise office online filing and information systems across the intranet and SharePoint. Manage and monitor company email inboxes, including individual mailboxes, ensuring timely responses and task allocation. Carry out additional ad hoc tasks as required to support daily operations. Desirable skills: Confident with strong communication skills both verbally and written. Comfortable with numbers. Good customer service skills. Willingness to learn. Driving licence and own vehicle ( essential ). Salary: £16,000 per annum. Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hour break for lunch.
